Oct 09, 2011 · Responding to a post from August 2014 from April Stone: i am very new to sewing. my Grams gave me this Singer Fashion Mate 252 many years ago, and i finally decided to pull it out and give it a go. worked fine with the bobbin and thread that were already loaded, but when i tried to replace the bobbin with a new-pre-threaded one, it kept jamming up.
